Delete a custom menu command

If custom menus are enabled, you have to have at least one command in the custom menu. As a result, you cannot delete the only custom menu command. If you one or more custom menu commands that are no longer needed, you can delete them. If you no longer need a custom menu, you can disable the last custom menu command by clearing the Enable custom menu setting on the Customize Document Review Shortcut Keys and Hot Keys window.

You can remove a custom menu command from a custom menu by following these steps:

  1. On the Project tab, in the Configuration group, select Project Settings Project Settings icon.
  2. Click the Document Review tab.

    The Document Review method settings are displayed.

  3. Click Shortcuts.
  4. Locate and select the custom menu command to be deleted.
  5. In the Menu section, click Delete.
  6. Click OK to save your results.

    The Customize Document Review Shortcut Keys and Hot Keys window is closed.

  7. Optionally, click OK to close the Project Settings window.
