Natural Language Processing engine
This engine performs natural language processing for the following locators:
In addition to this, this engine also performs paragraph detection. This is configured on the Recognition tab - Project Settings window.
Before you can use this engine and the locators that it supports, a manual installation of the NLP engine is required. For more information on installing the Natural Language Processing engine, refer to the Kofax Transformation Modules Installation Guide.
There is a class-level setting called Extract named entities. If you are using a script to process the named entities without the use of a locator, this setting must be selected. If however, you are using the Named Entity Locator, the extraction of named entities is performed on-demand when the Extract named entities class-level setting is cleared.
