Correction tab - Project Settings window

Use the Correction tab on the Project Settings window to configure fields and other correction settings. These setting work in partnership with field properties for any suitable field.

Fields

These settings determine the look and feel of the Correction and Thin Client Correction modules in terms of how much information is displayed at once, and the order of the fields. The following settings are available:

Fields displayed in the Correction Viewer

Select one or more of these fields to be displayed in alongside the Current Field. This puts the Current Field in context when it is being edited, and improves the user experience when navigating between fields in a batch.

Previous Field

Select this setting to display the Previous Field in Correction before the Current Field. This setting is selected by default.

Next Field

Select this setting to display the Next Field in Correction after the Current Field. This setting is selected by default.

Fields grouped by

The fields in the batch are presented in one of the following orders:

• Field name (across whole batch).

  Choose this value to group the fields by field name across the whole batch. All unconfident fields for the first field name are displayed, across multiple documents, followed by unconfident fields for the second field name and so on. This is the default value for this setting.

• Individual document (then by field name).

  Choose this value to group the fields by individual document. All unconfident fields for the first document in the batch are displayed, in field order, followed by unconfident fields for the second document and so on.

Options

This group has the following settings:

Insert Last Value

Select this setting to enable the correction user to insert the value of the previous field in the batch using a shortcut key or toolbar setting. This setting is cleared by default.

Insert OCR Value

Select this setting so the displayed recognition value can be inserted using a toolbar setting or a shortcut key. This setting is cleared by default.

View Full Image

Select this setting to enable users to locate and key the field data on the full image if it is not displayed fully in the normal view. This setting is cleared by default.
