Global calendar for components
When you work with your data, type
Calendar
in the
Property Panel
and select the applicable calendar from the list. For more information about
setting calendars, see the
Kofax Insight Admin Console Help.
After your selection is applied to the chart, the data is shown according to the calendar working hours.
If the component’s time is based on
Interval of (to current time/to last available date of metric)
and
a calendar is applied to the component, the component interval contains the
number of working days specified.
For example, if you want
Show me 7 days going back from Fri 08/21
and apply a standard
calendar, the result interval is not 08/14 - 08/21; it is 08/12 - 08/21 because
the interval includes 2 non-working days. After calculating the data for such
component, the results for non-working days or holidays are excluded.
However, if you calculate a total value for the same period, it includes all holiday values.
The calendars do not affect components without time drill-down for less
than a week. Also, paging in grids may not work correctly if the
calendar data reduction
is selected.
For such cases, in the expression editor for a record derived field,
select
DATE_DIFF_BUSINESS_DAYS,
DATE_DIFF_BUSINESS_HOURS,
and
DATE_DIFF_BUSINESS_MINUTES
functions that return the period based
on the calendar selection.
