Instead of using the Solution Configuration Manager > Global Settings > User Management to manage your users, you can use Kofax TotalAgility. This is common when using Windows Authentication.

Also, if you are using Invoice Processing Agility in an Azure environment, users must be maintained within Kofax TotalAgility. This is because the Solution Configuration Manager in an Azure environment does not allow for user management.

Each user who uses Invoice Processing Agility must be a member of one of the Invoice Processing Agility resource groups. This enables them to perform the various tasks related to each resource group.

For example, if a user processes invoices in Validation they must be a member of the IPAResourceGroup_Validation_<ClientID> resource group.

A user can be a member of multiple resource groups.

You can configure these resource groups in one of the following locations in Kofax TotalAgility.

• TotalAgility Designer > Resources

• TotalAgility Workspace > Administration > Manage Resources
