Bar Code Queues

A bar code queue contains bar code request for MarkView documents. A bar code server assigned to the queue handles these requests. You can map bar code servers to bar code queues using a bar code queue assignments. You can have multiple bar code queues in the system.

Add a bar code queue

  1. Select the Bar Code Queues tab and click Add.
  2. Enter a Queue Name and Description.
  3. Click Save.

Modify a bar code queue

You cannot change a queue name once it is saved.

  1. Click Details next to the queue to change.
  2. Continue as follows:

    • To change queue description, modify the field as needed, and click Save.

    • To remove the queue, click Delete.

  3. Click Save.

Assign a bar code queue

  1. Select the Bar Code Queues tab and click Details next to the queue to assign.
  2. Select the Queue Assignments tab and click Add.
  3. Click Select Bar Code Server and select a server from the LOV.
  4. Enter a Priority for the new queue assignment.
  5. Click Save.

Modify a bar code queue assignment

  1. Click Details next to the assignment to change.
  2. Continue as follows:

    • To change assignment, change the fields as needed, and click Save.

    • To remove the assignment, click Delete.
