Queues

MarkView Process Admin manages work items and moves them between queues, based on workflow rules. You cannot add a queue through Process Admin, but you can view queue attributes and you can assign role queue privileges to a role.

View queue attributes

Clicking the Details button displays the current attribute settings for the selected queue. This is a read-only view.

To view queue attributes, select the Queues tab and click Details next to the queue name.

Add a role queue privilege

  1. Select the Queues tab and click Details next to the queue to assign to a role.
  2. Select the Role Queue Privileges tab and click Add.
  3. Click Select Role and select a role to add.
  4. Click Select Function and select a function.
  5. Select a Privilege Code from the list.
  6. Click Select Filter and select a filter.
  7. Enter a Filter Parameter, if needed.
  8. Enter a Priority.
  9. Click Save.

Modify a role queue privilege

MarkView generates the ID, which you cannot change.

  1. Select the Role Queue Privileges tab and click Details next to the privilege to change.
  2. Continue as follows:
    • To change the role privilege, modify the fields as needed, and click Save.

    • To remove the role privilege, click Delete.

Other queue options

Using Process Admin to modify, add, or remove settings for the following can directly impact MarkView functionality or could require coding and configuration outside of MarkView. Therefore, do not perform administrative tasks for these settings without the guidance of a Kofax employee.
