The Server performs document separation, classification and extraction. To perform additional steps in between these tasks, like reviewing the documents to identify and fix classification results and separation problems prior to extraction, the Server can be run a second time. This allows Document Review to be used between the two Server instances to fix classification or separation errors.

You can configure the steps, which are performed by each instance by setting options in the Extended Synchronization Settings of Synchronization Tool (for further information see Synchronization Tool Help) or Kofax Capture Administration. When you publish a batch, the sequence of the queue containing Kofax Transformation Modules is checked to verify that the specified module order is allowed.

It is possible to distinguish between the two Server instances in scripts. For more detailed information refer to the Script Documentation Help.
