Known issues

This topic contains information about the potential issues that you may encounter while using TotalAgility 7.10.0. Workarounds are provided, as applicable.

Check processing requires 8.3 filename support

1712402: Parascript check locator requires 8.3 filename support for some features.

Workaround: In case 8.3 filename support is not enabled, perform the following steps to enable it:

  1. On the Windows Command prompt, run the following command to enable short names for volume C:

    fsutil 8dot3name set C: 0

  2. Stop all Kofax user services and web server services.

  3. On the Windows Command prompt, run the following command to set short names for the directories:

    fsutil file setshortname "C:\Program Files (x86)" PROGRA~2

    fsutil file setshortname "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files" COMMON~1

  4. Start the services again.

Transformation Server upgrade failed for TotalAgility On-Premise

1705713: When TotalAgility 7.7.0 was installed in a distributed environment (that is, separate TotalAgility Apps, Transformation Designer, Transformation Server and Web server), and fix packs were applied in a sequential manner, such as 7.7.0.1, 7.7.0.2, 7.7.0.3 and so on through 7.7.0.22; on upgrading such an installation of TotalAgility from version 7.7.0.22 to 7.10.0, the installation was not successful and completed with errors.

Workaround: Uninstall the older version of Transformation Server before installing the latest version.

Error publishing Quick Capture solution with code 128 and GS1-128 bar code types

1697339: In a Quick Capture solution, you can use either code 128 or GS1-128 bar code types on a document but not both.

If you publish a Quick Capture solution where both bar code types are selected on the document, an error occurs.

Blob ID added during CSV to TIFF conversion

1671790: The Blob ID is appearing at the top of the document in the Validation activity when converting CSV files with LibreOffice.

Issues after upgrade from TotalAgility 7.5 to TotalAgility 7.10

1659955: After upgrading from Kofax TotalAgility 7.5.0.30 on-premise multi-tenant to any newer version (such as TotalAgility 7.8.0, 7.9.0 or 7.10.0), the following issues occur:

  • Kofax TotalAgility Reporting does record any Classification and Extraction events for new jobs.

  • Classified_datetime column records NULL value.

  • Kofax Analytics for TotalAgility does not display Classification and Extraction data while other data is displayed correctly.

Workaround: Upgrade to the latest fix pack of the version upgrading to.
