New features

This release contains the following new features for AutoStore.

  • Token Vault is now version 3.6 and supports Azure Active Directory (AD) authentication and an Azure SQL database.
  • Added support for Azure AD for Unified Clients.
  • Added support DocuShare 7.5.
  • Added support DocuWare 7.5.
  • Added support OpenText eDocs 21.1.
  • Enhanced the UI of multiple components to validate the regular expression when the configuration window is closed.
  • OPBarcode: New RRTs list all barcodes per page and all pages with barcodes.
  • OCR: Export format PDF/UA was added.
  • Added support for Kofax OmniPage 21.1.0.6.
  • NetDocuments is a new route component to support routing documents to NetDocuments DMS.
  • OCR: Added Arabic, Thai, Vietnamese, and Hebrew recognition languages.
  • All components (AutoCapture, WebCapture, Interactive Capture, RightFax, DataFilter, Send to Database and Workflow Tracker) that support an ODBC connection to retrieve data from, or write data to, the SQL database now support Azure SQL database.
  • Configuration Assistant AutoStore licensing page now has a separate slider for the AutoStore Core license.
  • AutoStore now requires Microsoft .NET 4.8 and Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime 2019.
  • OpenText Content Server is a new route component to support the OpenText Content Server backend. For supported backend versions consult the Kofax ControlSuite Technical Specifications.
  • Azure AD authentication and identification are now supported by the following components:
    • Interactive Capture - A new capture component offering similar functionality compared to WebCapture, but with an enhanced web client and design.
    • AutoCapture - AutoCapture component and its desktop clients support Azure AD in Group and Menu security settings.
