Known issues
This section describes issues that you may encounter while using Output Manager and provides workarounds, as applicable.
Credential validation fails
1780669: Re-opening a connection during the same console session may result in login failure when using Azure credentials.
Workaround: Close and re-open the Output Manager Console.
An unexpected error occurs while grouping documents
1761950: Document merge may fail with an error while grouping documents.
An exception occurs when sending email using Office365
1758528: An exception may occur when sending system notifications via Office 365 using an Azure user.
Workaround: Use a different email system or a non-Azure user.
System admin user is not added with the correct permissions
1679074: When running Configuration Assistant in silent mode, the Output Manager system admin user is not added with correct permissions.
Workaround: Use Configuration Assistant in UI mode to add the system admin user.
AD Sync scheduled task message shows incorrect user updates
1676345: In some circumstances, when using an HA configuration, message 4919 shows 0 users updated, even though AD Sync successfully updates users, as shown in messages 5204, 5778, and 5208.
Input service stops
1662324: Certain non-printed documents (such as certain .docx files) may cause the Output Manager Input service to fail when using the ControlSuite Analysis Engine.
Workaround: Use the Legacy Analysis Engine when processing these documents.
Only the first user in Base Distinguished Name is imported or updated
1626692: LDAP Import: Only the first user in Base Distinguished Name is imported/updated.
Workaround: Specify a Base Distinguished Name that is one level higher on the "Enter the characteristics of your LDAP server" screen, and then select the checkbox next to the desired Distinguished Name on the "Select LDAP Objects from which to Import/Update" screen.
Unable to edit more than one LPD queue at one time
1614180: In the LPD Source, you are unable to edit more than one LPD queue at one time.
Workaround: Modify each queue individually.
Previous detect devices range missing from the grid after a new discovery
1594391: Under some circumstances, a range of device detection IP addresses can disappear and require re-entry.
Workaround: Enter the IP range again.
Unable to properly use all fonts when running under local system account on Windows Server 2019
1555089: When Output Manager is running on Windows Server 2019 and its services are configured to use the local system account, transformation operations may not be able to utilize all the fonts on the system.
Workaround: Use a domain user account for the services.
Text extraction is corrupting some Greek language characters
1541493: The Business Rule action "Extract Text (page mode)" is corrupting some Greek language characters.
Duplex is not leveraged when Page Range and Duplex is set
1513878: The duplex setting is not leveraged when both Page Range and Duplex are set in print settings.
Workaround: Select the page range when printing from the application.
Embedded image retrieved as a separate document
1425407: When receiving a document with the Email Source (EWS / Office 365) that includes embedded images and one or more attachments, separate documents are created for the embedded images as well as for the attachments.
