This section describes issues that are resolved in Equitrac.

Installation of the 32-bit edition in an IPv6 environment failed

1775271: Windows Print Client: Installation of the 32-bit edition in an IPv6 environment failed and the SLP component could not be started.

LPR jobs from IPv6 interface were assigned to the wrong users

1773832: DRE: In an IPv6 network environment, the submitted print jobs using LPR protocol were assigned to the wrong users having the IP address in their names.

Login did not work when CAS was offline

1763949: Ethernet card reader: When CAS was offline, users were unable to release their print jobs by swiping their cards at an Ethernet card reader.

Turkish locale caused empty print job list at the device clients

1758598: Print Job Management: If the current locale of the OS where DCE is installed was set to Turkish, the connected device clients always displayed an empty print jobs list.

Turkish locale caused CAS requests to fail

1756079: Equitrac API: If the current locale of the OS was set to Turkish, some API entry points returned invalid data.

The print jobs list for Turkish was always empty

1751889: Web Client - User Dashboard: The print jobs list was always empty when the web browser language was set to Turkish.

Equitrac API returned a 'service provider' error

1750378: The Equitrac API displayed a "Connection error occured with the service provider!" error message when using the “GET /billingcodes” entry point.

First print was incorrectly recorded as workstation job, other prints disappeared

1749759: Workstation Print Client - Printing: The first print job was incorrectly recorded as a workstation job while other print jobs were not printed and disappeared.

Import failed without connection to CAS

1734868: EQLRSVPSXImport tool: Importing did not work and the connection to CAS could not be established.

Newer version of the printer driver was not updated if the current driver had the same name

1734239: Managed Queue printing: If the assigned printer driver was upgraded to a newer version in the Printer Driver Repository, it was not updated at the Managed Queues.

Job download URL had short Netbios name instead of long FQDN

1731155: Scan Client: The download URL links of scan jobs did not have the fully-qualified domain name (instead just the computer name), which caused accessibility problems in some network environments.

Equitrac API showed as unlicensed

1712146: The Equitrac API did not recognize a valid license and showed its status as unlicensed when using a ControlSuite NFR license that had an expiration date on some locales.

Card reader became unassigned if the IP address of the assigned device changed

1699293: Ethernet card reader: If the IP address of the assigned device changed, the card reader became unassigned.

Guest login at the device did not work if the 'Deny keyboard login with empty password' was enabled

1696462: Authentication: The Guest login function at the device did not work when the 'Deny keyboard login with empty password' was enabled.

Print job transaction was lost if the server hostname could not resolve to IP address

1685805: Windows Print Client - Tracking local print jobs: If the hostname of a server component could not be resolved to an IP address (for example, the DNS was not accessible), the transaction of the print job was lost.

Sending emails caused failure

1685314: Scanning: When an email scan workflow reached its end, the SPE email notification sometimes caused the SPE component to fail.

Released job failed in a multi-CAS environment if DRE could not resolve CAS hostname

1683674: Printing: Releasing a print job from one site to another in a multi-CAS environment failed if DRE could not resolve the CAS hostname.

PIN varaibles could not be placed in email message

1679263: Web System Manager - Automated PIN Code Management screen: Variables for PINs could not be placed in any rows of the email message.

Printing to LPR port failed

1674898: Windows Print Client: If a user printed to a print queue using LPR, the print job failed with an error message.

Incorrect device reports

1673775: Reports: If multiple labels were assigned to a physical device, the reports for that device listed the same transactions multiple times.

Generated reports had localization problems

1671294: Web System Manager: The generated reports had date, time and number values that did not match the format of the current display language.

'Watermark' text was not translated

1670922: Web System Manager - Rules and Routing: When a new rule was created or edited, the Watermark display text was not translated.

Price values with decimal separator were not saved correctly

1670704: Web System Manager - Add or Edit price list: Price values were not saved correctly for languages that use a comma as the decimal separator.

Communication with Directory Agents was not robust

1665299: SLP: Discovering the Directory Agents were made more robust for the cases when more Directory Agents are available. When multiple Directory Agents were available, the discovery process did not handle them properly.

Performance improvements required

1632104: Equitrac server - Performance improvements were required to support communication for services installed on the same computer.

Newly installed printers were slow to release jobs

1632082: Print Clients (Windows & Mac) - Improvements were required to ensure that newly installed printers were not slow to release jobs.

Term ‘Kofax Card Reader’ was used and translated incorrectly

1426152: Web System Manager: Some terms related to card readers were translated incorrectly.

Some translations were incorrect for application titles

1426131: DCE - Device Clients: The title of the application was translated incorrectly for some languages (Finnish, German, Italian, Norvegian) on some device clients (HP OXP, Konica Minolta, Kyocera, Sharp, Xerox EIP).
