Processor
  • Small deployment recommendation: Single dual core desktop CPU -  2 GHz or higher
  • * Large deployment recommendation: XEON or Opteron CPU -  2MB or more 2nd-level cache, with at least 4-core CPUs/cores
Memory
  • Small deployment recommendation: 4 GB of RAM
  • * Large deployment recommendation: At least 16 GB of RAM
Disc space
  • Small deployment recommendation: 10 GB
  • * Large deployment recommendation: At least 100 GB
Software
  • Visual C++ Redist 2015 or later
Web Browsers
  • Internet Explorer 11.0 (or higher)
  • Google Chrome 10.0 (or higher)
Note * The large deployment server specifications listed above are for when Equitrac is used, and when DWS (as part of ControlSuite 1.1 Fix Pack 2 or higher) is working to its maximum and supporting up to 400 devices per DWS instance. These server specifications are higher than the standard DWS server specifications that are listed above due to the increased load and performance required.
Note DWS memory requirements cannot be shared with any other component running on the same server.
Note DWS must be installed on the same machine as DCE when running Xerox ECSP, Fuji-Xerox ECSP or Konica Minolta combined clients.

Servers

Component Requirement
ControlSuite Version 1.0 or later
eCopy ShareScan

Version 6.4. It is recommended that you install eCopy ShareScan on a different server than the standalone DWS.

Note: Under certain circumstances and scenarios (in case no other web-based client or simulator is used), DWS and eCopy ShareScan can reside on the same server.

Unified Client for Toshiba

Component Requirement
DWS root certificate The Device Web Server (DWS) root certificate is installed as Certification Authority (CA) Certificate in order to have the device trust the HTTPS connection to DWS.
Device certificate Imported or created on the device in order to have the DRS trust the HTTPS connection to the device.

Unified Client for Epson

Device certificate Imported or created on the device in order to have the DRS trust the HTTPS connection to the device.
