To configure MAPI as an input source for use with ReadSoft Collector:
Open the ReadSoft Collector General settings dialog
Open the ReadSoft Collector General settings dialog
Click the Input sources tab.
Click .
In the dialog that is displayed, select MAPI in the Type drop-down list.
In the Display name box, type a name that helps you remember what the input source configuration is used for. When the input source configuration is complete, what you enter here is displayed in the Display name column of the Input dialog.
Add any additional relevant information in the Description box, and click Next.
Select the appropriate MAPI profile from the drop-down list. Only those profiles that are associated with the account that the computer was logged onto with are available in the list.
Important note! Domain or local administrator rights are not sufficient to specify a MAPI input configuration in ReadSoft Collector. You must be logged in to the MAPI profile in which the incoming email will be received for it to work as intended.
Click Next.
Click an item in the folder list to access any potential sub-folders (a + sign is added to the list entry if sub-folders are present).
Click the plus sign (+) next to a folder in the list to display sub-folders.
You can create new folders by right-clicking
a folder in the list and selecting Create
folder.
Specify the destination folder where you want to put processed emails. See tips above. Click Next.
Specify the folder where you want to put emails that contain errors after processing.
Click Finish.
