Changing Page Size to Fit the Window

Use tools on the View bar or choose tools in the View ribbon in groups Zoom and Page View to resize the page view.

Actual Size

Choose 100% in View > Zoom > Zoom to or in the View bar percentage control or choose Actual Size in its shortcut menu, or press Ctrl+1.

Defined Size

Choose a percentage value in View > Zoom > Zoom to or in the View bar percentage control. In these cases the defined percentage remains in force even when the Document Panel is resized.

With the following options, the page image is resized whenever the Document Panel is resized.

Fit Page

Click the Fit Page tool in the View bar. This ensures all page content is visible without the need to scroll. It also displays one page at a time. Keyboard access is by Ctrl+Alt+P. With this option, pages are resized independently, so if you move to a different-sized page, the magnification will change automatically.

Click Fit Page Options at View > Page View and choose Fit Page from the drop-down list (Ctrl+0) for the same sizing, but with the ability to choose the display method independently: Single Page, Continuous, Facing (two pages at a time) and Facing Continuous. This choice is made with the neighboring tool: Scroll Options.

Fit Width

Click the Fit Width tool in the View bar.  This ensures all page content is visible without the need to scroll horizontally. It displays pages continuously, based on the widest page in the document. Keyboard access is by Ctrl+Alt+W.

To fit pages to the width of the document window with a different scrolling option, choose Fit Page Options at View > Page View and choose Fit Width from the drop-down list (Ctrl+2).

Fit Visible

Choose Fit Page Options at View > Page View and choose Fit Visible from the drop-down list (Ctrl+3). This is the same as Fit Width except that it shows not the page width but the width of the visible content, so it excludes most of the vertical margin areas.

Fit Height

Choose Fit Page Options at View > Page View and choose Fit Width from the drop-down list (Ctrl+2).  This ensures all page content is visible without the need to scroll vertically.
