This view is independent from the List view. This means that regardless of what is selected there, the information you provide here will override the selected rule.

Here, you can enter XML directly into the Edit rule area. You can even apply styles by selecting the Use Xsl checkbox.

Additionally, it is possible to import a similar rule. You can edit the imported rule so it is not necessary to start from scratch.

After adding a value, press Execute. This makes a call to the PIX Server and the resulting value is displayed in the notification bar at the top of the screen. This value is also entered into the Field View and its mapping type button is updated.
