General Panel

The General panel allows the user to see and edit global settings of the rule graph.

The Rule Id is mandatory and has to be unique system-wide.

The Comment can be used to describe the rule graph. It is visible in the graphs overview dialog.

The Id states the CRS version which was used when the rule graph was created.

Last Changed and By indicates when and by whom the rule graph was changed the last time.

Queue Definition

In the Queues panel of the settings dialog the user can add, or remove queues.

If you want to use a BNO based selection, you must select the BNO specific checkbox. Now there is a separate panel available for each defined BNO.

The panel for all BNO’s is always available and cannot be deleted.

The user can create new queue settings for a BNO by clicking on the buttons New BNO settings or Copy BNO Settings.

Existing BNO settings can be removed by using the Delete BNO settings after selection of the appropriate queue panel.

Within a panel, all defined queues are listed in a table. The user can create new queues by selecting the ‘New’ menu item in the drop-down menu. This menu is accessible via the right mouse button clicked on the queue table. In the same way, queue definitions can be removed via the Delete menu item. Since Input and Output queue are mandatory for a FraudOne system, these queues cannot be changed or deleted.

Queue properties can be changed by the Edit menu item or by double clicking on the selected queue entry within the table. A dialog that is similar to the Create action appears. Within this dialog the user can define the properties of a queue. The properties of a queue are displayed with small pictures within the column Properties.

Queue Type: A queue can be either a technical queue or a visual queue.

Technical queues can be any type of automat queues, and in certain cases, queues used for external result processing. Technical queues must be unique within the system. Thus a user can define a technical queue of a chosen category only once.

Visual queues are used to route items to workstations for human processing. There can be as many visual queues as required. These queues can be associated with different visual queue categories, or can share the same queue category. Note that the queue category for a visual queue defines the availability of reject reasons within the FraudOne clients.

Category: This is a mandatory field. The user can choose a category from a predefined list. This list is different for technical and visual queues. Queue categories assure system wide consistency of queue numbers and feature id’s, especially for technical queues.

Number: This is a unique number associated with the queue. This field is predefined for technical queues and cannot be changed by the user.

Feature Code: The feature code defines a unique number that is used by visual queues in order to identify their results within the database as well as within the result file. The user can assign a feature code within a range from 1 to 255. Since feature codes are predefined for technical queues they cannot be set by the user.

Name: This is the name of a queue used to identify it, e.g. in visual clients

Comment: This is an optional comment describing the queue.

Account Grouping: if checked, this queue is an account grouping queue. Find more information about account grouping in the documentation FraudOne - Thin Client User Guide.

Initial Cheque Display: These options are enabled for visual queues only. They specify the initial view of a cheque item. This can be one of the following values:

oFront: to display the front side of a cheque

oBack: to display the back side of a cheque

oFront + Back: to display the front- and the back side of a cheque

oSignature: to display only the signature of a cheque

Initial Reference Display: These options are enabled for visual queues only if reference display is enabled. The user can specify the initial display of reference data. This can be one of the following:

oCheck Stock: Display of check stock images

oSignatory List: Display of a list of signatories with signatures and mandates

oAccount Images: Display of images belonging to accounts

oSignatures: Displays a list of signatures

No Reference Display: This option triggers the display of reference data for visual queues. If it is checked, no reference data is displayed at all.

Risk Indicators

In the Data panel the user is able to select, or deselect the risk indicators that are available within the condition details panel. The list is retrieved from configuration settings and cannot be changed.

The only thing that can be changed here is the visibility of risk indicators within the condition panel. If the ‘used’ checkbox is selected, the user is able to select this risk indicator within the drop-down box of the conditions panel.

Configuration Variables

Configuration variables can be used to define conditions within a risk scenario. The default values of a configuration variable can be changed within this configuration panel. It is also possible to remove an existing configuration variable. This is only possible if the variable is no longer in use. Otherwise the action to remove the variable is not offered by the client.

Route from: a queue (from the defined queue list) from where routing starts again.
The default ‘route from’ queue is Input.
