If a user determines that a certain signature repeatedly enters visual inspection, such as when a signature has changed, he or she can use this menu to save the cheque signature as a variant signature.

To perform this, the selected signature (red) must be adjusted so that the entire signature is selected. Also be sure, that only one signature is selected if multiple signatures are present on the cheque. After the desired signature has been selected, it will be marked with a green border. This function is only allowed when the green border is visible.

Through assignment of the variant to one or two authorized signatories, the same signature powers apply to this variant (see Assigned variants).
