Configuration for client web servers

Option Description
Client web server Select the client web server that you want to configure. You must enable the server to complete the configuration.
Enable server Enables the DBM to start the selected embedded client web server. When not enabled, the DBM will not start it, or if it is running, it will be stopped.
Server host Specifies the host for the selected client web server.
Application directory Specifies the relative path to the application directory on the web server.
Server port This is the port that clients connect to and can be configured to optionally use SSL. If the Use SSL check box is checked, the certificate bound to the DBM configured by the ControlSuite Configuration Assistant will be bound to this port when the web server is started.

The default for Konica Minolta is 3348 and the default for Xerox is 3241.

Use SSL When checked, it specifies that the client web server port will have the certificate for the DBM bound to the port when the service is started.
The SSL certificate is unbound when the client web server is stopped, then rebound if using SSL when restarted.
Virtual root Specifies the relative path to the virtual root directory for the web server.
Application Open API port Enter the port number on which the Open API service will be running. The default is 13351.

An Output Manager device registration requires the OpenAPI port setting to be configured. If the device has problems communicating, ensure the port setting configured here matches the value that is set for the device through Device Registration Service. Also ensure there is no firewall software or hardware blocking the specified port and that IP-routing has been set up to allow communication on this port.

Authority Open API port Enter the port number through which Open API user authentication and authorization requests are handled. The default is 13353.
Restart server The selected client web server will be stopped if running, then restarted if the enabled server is checked.
