Deployment steps

  1. Install Output Manager.

    2. Install the Output Manager database.
    3. Install the Output Manager services.
    4. Install the Output Manager Console.
    5. Add administrative users.
  2. Install and activate an Output Manager license.
  3. Configure a default file store.
  4. Configure Output Manager for MFPs.
    1. Configure the SSL port.
    2. Configure devices.
    3. Configure device for accounting.
    4. Configure device for print preferences.
    5. Configure login methods.
    6. Configure billing accounts.
    7. Configure copy quota for users.
  5. Install and Setup Device Registration Service (DRS).
    1. Upload Unified Client for Ricoh Smart Operation Panel client package into DRS.
    2. Create and add application in DRS.
    3. Add and configure the MFP device.
    4. Install the Ricoh device using DRS in Output Manager deployment.
  6. Set up a print workflow.
    1. Set up a source.
    2. Set up a destination.
    3. Route a document to a destination.

Requirements

Component Requirement
Output Manager Version 4 SP2 or later.
DRS Version 7.13 or later.
Ricoh SOP firmware Ricoh M2a_System firmware 1.19 or later.
IM series devices may require M2a_System firmware 1.06.1 or later.
