How to Use HL7 Messenger

Use the HL7 Messenger componenet to customize and send HL7-compliant messag to preset destinations.

1. Set up and configure your HL7 server or application, specifying the IP address and port of your AutoStore server.
2. Design a workflow process by selecting the AutoCapture component.
3. Use the HL7 Messenger component as a process component, and the Document Writer and Send to Folder components as the route components.
4. Activate and configure the HL7 Messenger component, and create an HL7 message.
5. In the HL7 Messenger component, specify the IP address and port of your HL7 server or application.
6. Ensure that the output of the HL7 Messenger component can be handled as an RRT by the route components of the workflow.
7. Start AutoCapture, fill in the form.
8. Select the document to send.
9. The HL7 document message is sent. Check that the serverResponse.txt contains the created HL7 message, RRTs included.
