Support for import of cross-company postings
It is now possible to import SAP documents with an intercompany transaction number into Process Director Accounts Payable, manually via the “Import SAP document” function or using the /COCKPIT/SAP_DOC_IMPORT program.
Option to specify preferred document for line item proposal
With the new option “MM item suggestion preference” in /COCKPIT/C6, it is now possible to specify whether line items should be added from the purchase order or the delivery note when both are available. During manual line item proposal for an invoice, the user can change the default preference set in /COCKPIT/C6 via the new “Preference” selection list.
Item proposal for cross company postings as in MIRO
Process Director Accounts Payable item proposal for cross company postings has been aligned with that of MIRO, so that it now finds all purchase orders with the same reference even if they are in different company codes.
IMG activity to activate standard SAP BTEs
A new entry is available in the “Amendments” section of the IMG to activate standard SAP Business Transaction Events. Process Director Accounts Payable provides BTE implementations that allow automatic update of the data in the corresponding Process Director Accounts Payable document when an invoice is changed, reversed or paid in standard SAP transactions.
New fields are available in the detail screen to support the Swiss QR IBAN process. These fields are available in addition to or instead of the previously used ISR fields, depending on the standard SAP setting in the global parameters for the company code. A button is available to add the IBAN and generate the bank details from the IBAN. One-time vendors are supported, and the validity of the IBAN is checked.
Drag and drop for multiple PO items
It is now possible to select multiple purchase order line items and drag and drop them into the invoice.
When a document with material posting lines is imported from SAP, the material posting lines are added to the Process Director Accounts Payable document.
Adjustments for handling amount split and material posting data
The conversion functions /COCKPIT/MAP_INTERN_TO_EXTERN and /COCKPIT/MAP_EXTERN_TO_INTERN, User-Exit templates and calls, and BSP implementations were adjusted to handle amount split and material data correctly.
Changes in display of payment block for Amount split
If amount splitting is activated, for unposted documents the "Payment block" field is displayed only on the Invoice tab. After posting, the "Payment block" field is displayed on the Amount split tab and hidden on the Invoice tab.
Process Director Accounts Payable is fully compliant with S/4HANA On-Premise 2020.
SAP field settings taken into account for posting interface preparation
The settings in the SAP transactions OBC4 and OB41 are now taken into account when posting FI invoices. This avoids unnecessary messages, for example, when a field contains a value, but is hidden in accordance with the settings.
User Exit for customer-specific attachment handling
The new User Exit 615 "Custom specific attachment handling for IDOCs" allows you to create customer-specific file attachments during the transfer process.
Helper methods for IDoc attachment handling
Two reusable helper methods are available in the class /COCKPIT/CL_EDI_TOOLS. GET_ARC_CONF performs archive document assignments and ADD_ATTACHMENT_DATA populates the attachment RFC tables with attachment data from a BASE64 encoded string.
logoff_redirect_url after user inactivity
When the user is automatically logged off after a period of inactivity, the pdweb-app.properties parameter “logoff_redirect_url” now redirects the user to the specified URL.
Locked and no longer valid users excluded from recipients search help
Users locked by an administrator and users whose validity period has expired are no longer included in the workflow recipients search help.
Change history for Work Cycle User Management
Via the menu item Extras > Change logs, it is now possible to view all changes made in the Work Cycle User Management transaction /COCKPIT/WUM.
Notification of errors in accounting lines
When accounting lines have errors, such as a missing cost center, messages indicating the erroneous line numbers are displayed. In Work Cycle, the corresponding lines are also highlighted.
Additional toolbar buttons for custom functions
It is now possible to assign six custom functions to toolbar buttons instead of only three.
New options for automatic workflow start
Two new conditions are available for automatic workflow start in /COCKPIT/WI34. “005 Amount too high” starts the workflow if the invoice price for an item is higher than the purchase order price. “006 Amount too low” starts the workflow if the invoice price for an item is lower than the purchase order price.
In the Work Cycle configuration, users can now add criteria that will trigger automatic workflow recall. In the “Amendments” section of the Process Director Accounts Payable IMG, BAdI implementations can be activated to automatically recall workflows on documents when the referenced purchase order is changed or a goods receipt is posted in SAP.
Required for posting flag is ignored
When the "Required for posting" flag was set in the Business Solution Package automatic workflow start configuration, it was possible to post the document even though a message was issued that a workflow was required for posting. (RSPDN1357172)
