New framework for determining tax code and tax jurisdiction code
A new framework for determining the tax code and the tax jurisdiction code is now available. This framework allows you to activate and configure these determinations, and their definitions and functions.
The new functions available enable users to:
• Determine the tax code from the purchase order
• Determine the tax code using the existing logic
• Determine the tax code using binary logic
• Determine the tax jurisdiction code from the purchase order
• Determine the tax jurisdiction code from the cost center or cost object
You can also re-determine both the tax and tax jurisdiction codes. In addition, you can customize a function to recalculate the tax and rates table from the document header.
Run-time messages with information about each successful determination can also be generated.
Licence check for Ariba integration with PROCESS DIRECTOR Accounts Payable
A licence check is now required for the integration of Ariba with PROCESS DIRECTOR Accounts Payable. This is only an activation licence.
You can now calculate the withholding tax base amount from the tax amount, modified net amount or modified tax amount, in addition to the existing feature of calculating it from the net or gross amount.
New origin for Ariba documents
Ariba documents now have a new origin in PROCESS DIRECTOR Accounts Payable.
Archiving of files uploaded with "Data import" function
It is now possible to archive files that have been uploaded with the “Data import” function. If the archive document type is set during the upload, the corresponding files are archived using that type. If the document type is not set, the files are not archived.
Deactivate actions for bulk activities
You can now deactivate an action for multiple documents, while allowing it for a single document.
You can now rescan archived FI documents. (EMEIC2778)
Determine payment method from vendor master
You can now determine the payment method from the vendor master.
Drilling down from Accrual items to PROCESS DIRECTOR Accounts Payable document
You can now drill down from the Accrual items to the corresponding PROCESS DIRECTOR Accounts Payable document.
The search help for tax code now considers the reporting country for taxes (LSTML), thus behaving like the SAP standard. If no country is specified, the country associated with the company code is used.
By default, the additional check 0011, “Calculated quantity is more than the ordered quantity”, is skipped if the “Unlimited” delivery flag is set in the purchase order. Activating the new check parameter “Check for unlimited delivery” specifies that the check should run if this flag is set.
Transfer file names of additional attachments
The file names of additional attachments can now be dynamically transferred to the SAP function module.
Search help for tax reporting country enhanced
The search help for the tax reporting country has been improved to match the vendor master data in that the search results list now displays only valid entries.
Support for inactive tax codes
In SAP, it is possible flag tax codes as inactive (see OSS Note 2074351). Inactive tax codes are now not displayed in the tax code search help in PROCESS DIRECTOR.
Company code dependent vendor determination searches
With the new setting “Company code dependent searches” in /COCKPIT/C41, it is now possible to specify whether or not the company code transferred from INVOICES is taken into account by the search. If this setting is activated, the vendor will only be determined if it is available for the transferred company code.
A new user exit is now available for the Nota Fiscal solution, which allows users to create their own checks and adjustments for project-specific requirements.
Search helps for OTP configuration
Search helps are now available in the One Touch Processing “Verification of received data” configuration table.
Authorization check for Accrual Report
Users now need authorization for the /EBY/ICIV_ACCR_REP transaction in order to create an Accrual Report.
New options for adding multiple lines in the detail screen
For the user setting “Create several lines at once in detail screen” , it is now possible to specify how many new lines should be added, and whether they should be inserted before or after the selected line, or at the top or bottom of the items table.
Warning when payment terms are deleted
If all the payment terms fields are cleared, PROCESS DIRECTOR automatically enters the payment terms values from the vendor master data or the purchase order. This behavior is different from MIRO, where it is possible to post with empty payment term fields. If the new user setting “Show payment terms change information popup” is activated, PROCESS DIRECTOR now issues a warning to inform the user that the payment terms fields will be automatically filled.
Internet user as substitute for SAP user
An internet user can now be set as the substitute for an SAP user.
