The layout of header data in the detail screen has been reorganized to improve usability.
Entering extended withholding tax amounts for credit notes is now supported.
The tax number fields STCD1 (Tax number 1) and STCD2 (Tax number 2) are now available in PROCESS DIRECTOR Accounts Payable and are supported in postings. A corresponding vendor search, 013 Search by Tax Reference Number, is available in /COCKPIT/C32.
If a head office is maintained in the vendor master record, the field Head office is filled with the value from the master record. The FI duplicate check and Partner bank type search help have been adjusted accordingly to refer to the head office vendor instead of the branch vendor.
The delivery date is now displayed in the PO data in the document detail view.
It is now possible to enter an invoice reference and fiscal year when documents are posted with reference to an existing SAP document.
It is now possible to reject multiple documents at the same time. If a mandatory note is required (setting in /COCKPIT/C27), the entered note is assigned to all documents.
It is now possible to send a message for multiple documents. The user can select which of the document attachments should be sent with the message. Placeholders (aliases) in the email messages are properly replaced. Sending messages with bulk rejection of documents is also supported. A new follow-up flag, Message sent, is available.
New user setting to automatically close the detail view and return to the document overview after processing a document.
PO attachments can now be made visible on the line item level.
The selection fields specified in /COCKPIT/WI24 are now also available in the Display releases (History) popup in the SAP GUI. A number of selection fields are displayed by default, the remaining configured fields are available via the Other selection fields button.
It is now possible to manually assign users to individual line items or accounting lines before sending a document into workflow. The user type is automatically entered. In the Web Application, a user can be simultaneously assigned to multiple items. The users entered in the line items/accounting lines are automatically assigned to the workflow step. Substitutions, forwarding and queries are supported. If workflow recipients are determined by a user exit, the assignments are displayed in the PROCESS DIRECTOR document and can be overwritten by the user.
By default, workflow processors see only lines that are assigned to them, or lines that are not assigned to anyone. Via a configuration option in the optional settings for the workflow step, it is possible to display items assigned to other processors in read-only mode, rather than hiding them. It is also possible to configure a default user type for line item approval.
New configuration options are available in /COCKPIT/WI6 to identify duplicate entries when creating users in /COCKPIT/WUM. With these checks activated, a new user cannot be created if the entered name, user ID or email address already exists.
The report /COCKPIT/WC_CHK_DEL_USRS is now available to check whether users that no longer exist are still assigned to user groups or workflow steps, or assigned as a substitute.
The initial password for Web Application users defined in transaction /COCKPIT/WI6 is now encrypted when stored on the database.
When taking over substitution for another user in a workflow in PROCESS DIRECTOR Accounts Payable, the full user name is now displayed in addition to the user ID.
A new user exit, /COCKPIT/USEX_SMARTFORM_CNTRL, is available to modify Smart Form options such as the language or printer before the Smart Form is used.
During line item proposal it is now possible to filter planned delivery cost items by entering the corresponding condition types. To use this feature, the Planned delivery costs setting must be activated in /COCKPIT/C6. This feature is only available for the MM item suggestion version PROCESS DIRECTOR AP 7.1 with pop-up.
Fast entry documents can now be accessed with a dedicated transaction, /COCKPIT/3. It is possible to create a new fast entry document and to upload an image for a newly created document.
To make the usage of the workflow easier, description texts for company codes, business areas, vendors, invoicing parties, G/L accounts and materials are now displayed in the detail view next to the value field.
Meaningful error messages are now displayed if the user contravenes password complexity rules when specifying a new password. Previously these message were generic and not very helpful in identifying the problem.
A number of improvements were made for the data import functionality. Among others:
It is now possible to view the image of an invoice in the overview list. The parameter imageinlist = yes must be set in the pdweb-app.properties file.
It is now possible to add tax information when creating a new invoice.
It is now possible to enter withholding tax in the Web Application.
The PROCESS DIRECTOR Web Application now supports the parameters accounting.preset, accounting.preset.STEPID and accounting.copy.FIELD. These parameters determine whether values from the first accounting line are copied to new accounting lines.
In the Web Application it is now possible to display HTML forms for users to fill in. Completed forms are added to the PROCESS DIRECTOR document as attachments.
In a Master Worklist configuration, it is now possible to define quick start menu buttons for ICS systems. The new parameter pd_ics_only_quickstart = yes must be set in the pdweb-app.properties file.
It is now possible to show additional information on the login screen; this can be information from the buyer to the vendor, or information from ReadSoft, such as system downtime or maintenance announcements.
It is now possible to move from field to field using the arrow up/down keys and from page to page using the page up/page down keys. Browser navigation buttons (back, forward) are also supported.
In systems without a Master Worklist configuration, the SAP system ID is now displayed above the Worklist.
The Quick Start icon is now available on the document detail screen too.
The layout of the header data has been redesigned to improve usability. Data fields are no longer displayed in tabs, but in individual panes within the header area. This means that all data can be displayed at the same time, except on smaller screens, where the user can browse and hide or display individual panes. Attachments, notes, messages and the audit trail can be displayed by clicking the appropriate button on the right of the screen.
A new parameter, pd_show_old_messages, controls whether only the most recent messages are displayed or also messages from previous checks.
Fields in the document detail view are now displayed in a specific style (color) depending on the message type belonging to the field.
A new parameter, csvDownloadList, is now available. This setting allows users to copy or export the documents in the document list.
The imageattach and imageattach.STEPID parameters are now supported. They enable users to add an invoice image to the document, provided the invoice can be edited and has no image attached to it already.
A new parameter, pd_show_last_note, is now supported. If this parameter is set, the last note attached to a document in a workflow is displayed. The number of characters to be displayed needs to be specified.
It is now possible to enter percentages in the accounting lines. They will be evaluated and automatically converted to absolute values, to correspond with the header data.
It is now possible to add notes to the Release and For information purposes workflow types in the Web Application and save the documents with the notes, before the documents become editable.
It is now possible to create customized buttons in the PROCESS DIRECTOR Web Application.
The pd_forward_dialog_dimension parameter is no longer supported. It was used to set the size of the Workflow start/Workflow status dialog box.
Two new parameters, userformat.superior and userformat.superior.tooltip, make it possible to control which information is displayed in the Worklist node and node tooltip for passive substitutes. The user ID, user type, user name, department, phone and email can be displayed.
It is now possible to specify different URLs for different SAP systems in the WORK CYCLE Web Application settings (/COCKPIT/WI1). This also applies for MOBILE APPROVAL (/COCKPIT/MAI1).
It is now possible to perform workflow actions (start, approve, forward, etc.) from the document overview. Previously this was only possible from the document detail screen.
Individual email texts are now available for forwarding a document, sending a query and answering a query. These can be assigned in /COCKPIT/WI9.
It is now possible to perform the workflow actions start, recall, approve, reject and forward on multiple documents.
When a workflow step is rejected, it is now possible to send the document back to the previous or first workflow recipient instead of the previous or first workflow processor. (If a workflow step has been forwarded or processed by a substitute, the processor of a step may not be the same person as the recipient who originally received the step).
The document detail view now displays the workflow and step names in both the SAP GUI and the detail screen in the Web App.
Users no longer have to select a user type when searching for users to assign to a workflow. The search help searches SAP and WUM users and enters the correct user type based on the user's selection.
A new method, CHECK_ACTION, is available in the Workflow steps handling BAdI. This method implements a check to establish what happens when one of the actions approve, query, forward or reject is performed. This can be useful, for example, to check if an approver has authorization to perform an action.
The POP3S protocol is now supported.
