This free fix pack for Kofax Power PDF 5.0 (5.0.0.10) Standard and Advanced provides important security features and other improvements.
Kofax strongly recommends that you apply this fix pack.

Issues resolved in this fix pack

• Significant enhancements were made to ensure compliance with the most current, industry-standard security protocols.
• Added support for the Thai and Vietnamese OCR languages.
• Update for Google Analytics from UA to GA4.

Install this fix pack

Use the following procedure to install the fix pack.

1. Download the fix pack file to your computer.
   IMPORTANT: Use the Download Only button to save the file to a known location. Do not click Install, as permission limitations may cause problems with the update.
2. Verify that Kofax Power PDF 5.0 is not running.

Note: For best results, install the fix pack during off-peak processing hours.

3. Double-click the .msi file to install the fix pack. The file name depends on the Power PDF edition:
   • KofaxPowerPDFStandard-5.0.0.10.msi
   • KofaxPowerPDFAdvanced-5.0.0.10.msi

The fix pack installer screen appears.

1. Click Next to proceed with the installation.
2. Follow the instructions on subsequent installer screens.
4. When prompted that the installation is finished, click Finish.
5. Restart the computer if the installer requires it.

Note that in the event that you need to repair or reinstall the software, you may need to reapply this fix pack.

Remove this fix pack

It is not possible to uninstall a fix pack or roll it back to a previous version in one step.

To remove this fix pack and return to a previous version:

1. Uninstall Power PDF.
2. Reinstall the base version of Power PDF 5.0.
3. Reinstall the previous fix pack.
