Search Current dialog box

Click Search in the Home ribbon and choose Search Current in the drop-down list to display this dialog box and type in your search phrase.
 

Click on the gear icon () right to the text box to reach search settings as follows:

Match Case

Finds only the precise words that are in the case you have entered. For example, if you search for the word Internet, neither the word INTERNET nor internet is found.  

Match whole word only

Finds only the precise complete word that you have typed in the Find box. For example, if you search for the word trace, neither the word race nor tracer is found.

Include Bookmarks

Searches bookmarks as well as the text content of your PDF.

Include Comments

Searches comments as well as the text content of your PDF.

 

Click the arrow close to the right side of the box to drop down the list of previous search terms. Select any item and press Enter to start the search, or select Remove recent items to clear the list.

 

Tip

For more search options, and to search through multiple PDF files, search by patterns or masks, or search through pre-built index files, choose Search Multiple for the full Search dialog box.
