Search in a Relational Database
This window enables you to perform searches relational database search. You can select a record that overrides the current field values in the selected document.

If this option is enabled, it uses existing field data for mapped fields, and runs a database lookup when you click the Database Lookup button. If there is a single match in the database, validation fields are automatically populated with values from the database. If there are multiple results, they are listed as options that you can select in the search results window.
Use the following keyboard shortcuts to navigate around the window:
Keystrokes | Description |

F1 | Opens the Help for this window |
F2 | Enters cell edit mode |
Left Arrow | Navigates to the column on the left |
Right Arrow | Navigates to the column on the right |
Up Arrow | Navigates to the row above the current position |
Down Arrow | Navigates to the row below the current position |
Enter | Exits cell edit mode. Press again to start the search |
Ctrl + Enter | Selects a database record and closes the window |
Delete | Deletes the content of a cell |
Esc | Closes the window |

- Type a correct value into one or more of the column fields.

Search.
A successful search returns one or more rows of data.
- Compare the search results with the corresponding values on the image.
- Select the row by clicking on its row number on the left of the table.

Click
OK.
This selected record is inserted into the corresponding validation fields.
