Change state action

Configure a TotalAgility Change state action for a NewMail event occurring in the Microsoft Exchange. For example, configure a Change state action to trigger under any of the following circumstances:

  • When an email arrives in your inbox.

  • When you receive an email with a subject that matches the predefined regular expression format.

  1. Navigate to Integration > Exchange.

    The Exchange page appears.

  2. From the list of sites, click the Exchange site for which to configure the events.

    The Edit Exchange site configuration dialog box is displayed.

  3. Click for Events.

    The New Exchange event configuration dialog box is displayed.

  4. On the Folder list, select the folder for which to configure the action. (Default: Inbox).
  5. On the Event list, select the event for which to configure the TotalAgility action. (Default: NewMail)
  6. On the Action list, select Change state. (Default: Create new job)
  7. To display the state of a job at runtime, select a dynamic value, or click and enter a static value for Job ID and State.
  8. Click Save.

    The configured event appears under Events in the Edit Exchange site configuration dialog box. You can edit or delete the event.

  9. Click Save.

    When a folder is created in the Exchange site, a Change state action is created against a job at runtime.
