Configure the properties of a document type.

1. Navigate to Capture > Extraction groups.

   The Extraction groups page appears.

2. Click New.

   The Extraction group page appears in a new browser tab. Under the Design tab, Group 1 is created by default with a root document type, RootDocumentType.

3. Select the RootDocumentType and click Document type on the modeling bar.

   By default, TotalAgility adds Document Type 1.

   Double click the document type node to rename the document type.

4. Select the document type. In the properties panel, use the following tabs to configure the properties:

   • General

   • Validation

   • Field validation

   • PDF generation

   • Forms

5. Click Save. The configured settings are saved.
6. Click Release.
   Note You can only use the released version of a document type in a process.
