Supported input formats and output PDF formats
Following table provides a list of all the input file formats supported by KFXConverter and the respective output (PDF or PDF/A) formats.

If the content of the input PDF file does not meet the criteria to be converted to the required PDF/A format, the format of the output PDF/A may be downgraded. For example:

If the input file contains text that is not extractable and the output is configured to PDF/A-2u, the actual output will be downgraded to PDF/A2b.

If the input does not contain logical structure information (that is, tagging) and the output is configured to PDF/A1a, the actual output will be downgraded to PDF/A1b.
This applies only to the files which are convertible to a PDF/A complaint file.
The following table summarizes the configured output in KC Plug-In, the expected PDF/A format of the output file, and the actual PDF/A format of the output file based on the contents of the input file.
