Define Time zone settings

Insight gives you the ability to define the time zone settings for data sources and Date/Time fields. If you use several connections and the Support multiple connections check box is selected, you can define the Time zone settings for each connection in the data source.

Time zone settings for a data source

You can define the Time zone settings for a data source.

  1. On the Documents Tree, click the data source to open it on the right pane.
  2. On the Property Panel, in the Connection group, select the Support daylight saving time to apply the daylight saving adjustment.
  3. Select the Time zone from the list as required.
The list of time zones is loaded from the system. By default, no time zone is selected.

You can define different settings for a certain field.

  1. In the selected data source, select the table from the list and click Get tables.
  2. Click Get fields to display the list of fields on the right pane.
Select the Date/Time field from the list and navigate to Property Panel.
