How authorization works

Every Server Monitor user can view the status and information about any server. If you want to change the state of a server (like changing the trace level, starting or stopping the server, …) you need authorization to do it.

The authorization data is held in the FraudOne user management database. The user-id you want to use must have the "SrvMon" access right.

In order to be able to send commands needing authentication, you must first log on in your monitor. The remote server manager will only accept commands containing a valid authorization.
