You have now completed the common tasks you’ll be doing using the Server Monitor.

The last thing to do is closing the Server Monitor (via menus or toolbar button). Before we do that however, we’ll have a look at the ‘save’ feature.

If you are monitoring more than one computer, it is a tedious task to always add your computers to the tree view at start up. You can save your workspace configuration by using the menu item

Options > Settings > Save now

This will save your current configuration and reload it when you next start your monitor. This includes window sizes and positions, filters and rules, etc.

If you change things often, use the feature

Options > Settings > Save automatic

to store your settings every time you close the Server Monitor.
