Description

A named pipe used to transport server requests and responses cannot be created.

Cause

This is normally caused by system resource shortages or from an incomplete shutdown of the server from a previous start.

Action

Check the Windows error code listed in the message. If this indicates lack of system resources, ensure that the workload of the machine where the server is being started does not exceed its capacity. Restart the operating system to clear any resources locked by a previous invocation of the program.
