Multiple signature update not valid at this time, client program will receive a wrong message type return code

Description

The client attempted a multiple update operation for a signature without first making a multiple update for the corresponding signatory.

Cause

This is a programming error in the client program (which may not be a SOFTPRO component).

Action

Contact the supplier of the client program which received the wrong message type return code for technical assistance.
