Description

The attempt to map an area of shared memory for communication between the service and the server manager process failed. The service will shut down.

Cause

The basic cause of the error is described by the error code given, often the problem is operating system resource shortages but may be due to synchronisation problems between the service and server manager, especially when the server manager is being restarted.

Action

After the service has shut down, check the system process list for programs named SrvMngr4.exe or SPKeyHd.exe. If either of these processes exist, terminate them and any child processes. If the problem persists, contact SOFTPRO for technical assistance.
