Signature data inconsistent; unchanged greyscale or dynamic signature read as monochrome cannot be stored

Description

The application calling the message serialiser has attempted to store (update or insert) to the database a signature image that was converted from the greyscale or dynamic format to monochrome format at the time it was read from the database. To protect against inadvertant loss of the greyscale or dynamic signatures in the database, the application is required to explicity modify the signature type to monochrome before storing the signature and this has not been done.

Cause

This is a programming error in the application calling the message serialiser.
