It’s principally possible to fill in only parts of names in the customer name, account description and signatory last and first name fields, but wildcards (*, ?) are not allowed. Also, the search procedure is not case-sensitive.
Example
Searching for account description "soft" finds account "SOFTPRO 1".
If a date in the past (differing from the actual date) is entered in the "date" field, the account view for this specific date is loaded. Therefore, only signatories being valid on that date (historized signatories) will be displayed. The date picker icon 
letting you easily choose dates instead of entering the date for the entry field manually. A date selection popup appears after clicking on the icon.
The checkboxes for "Stock Image View", "Signatory view" and "Image view" give you the possibility to pre-select the view option. One of them always has to be enabled, if more than one are "checked", all appropriate lists will be loaded. Once selected, this remains the default view until a different view has been selected.

By clicking "Search" the search is executed and the account view is directly displayed, provided there is only one account matching the entered search criteria. If more then one account is found with the entered search criteria, a list with all matching accounts will be displayed. This makes it possible to choose the requested one.
