Search for customer

The following data for the customer being sought are entered in this dialog:

Country
Can only be pre-selected in the custom.properties file

Bank-No.
Can be pre-selected in the custom.properties file or changed in the menu Select BNO

Bank code
Can be pre-selected in the custom.properties file

Further on the search requires one of the following information:

Customer-No.

Entering only the Customer-Name produces a list of corresponding customers

Entering a Signature-Last name or a Signature-Last name in connection with the Signature-First name produces a list of customers having a signatory with this name.

Entering the personal ID of a signatory again produces a list of customers having a signatory with this personal ID.

Cancel closes the dialog without searching for a customer.

If a date prior to the current date is entered in the Date field, the list of authorized persons displayed is the one valid on the date given (historized signatories list).

The Search button begins the search, and the customer is shown immediately together with the list of authorized persons, as long as there is only one customer corresponding to the search criteria entered. If there is more than one customer matching the search criteria a list of all customers is shown giving the user the possibility to select the appropriate one.

The Signatory View and Image View check boxes give the user the possibility to select the view to work with after a successful search. If none of the two check boxes are selected the view when loading a customer / account is set dependent on the data. If the customer / account has signatories and images or none of them the view remains as is. Otherwise if signatories OR images are present the view switches to the signatory view or image viewer respectively.

When working in SignInfo mode all mask sets that are defined for images of the found customer will be loaded automatically (see also Load Mask Sets).

A screenshot showing a list of signatories and a description of the colour coding can be found in the chapter Graphical User Interface.

Note Depending on the amount of data, the search-process can take a very long time.
