Import Documents

This action will show a popup dialog where the user can type in some search criteria for a search for new documents from the Archive Interface Server. It is possible to specify customer/account number as well as the bank code to search documents for. If no customer / account number is given the search behaves like the Load next document functionality. If a document is available it is loaded from the Archive Interface Server and merged to possibly existing customer / accounts as described in Load next document.

The user can review the updated or new customer / account and save it to the database.

 

 

There is a check box to start the import in batch mode. In batch mode it is not possible to specify customer or account number to search for. The functionality is as described in Load next document except that a new or updated customer/account is saved to the database automatically without any user intervention. If there are no further documents available the client will continue 'waiting' until stopped by the user using the Cancel button. The status of the batch process is written to the main window.
