When the SignBase Client is used to display data for an account that has associated check serial number range information, the client includes these serial number ranges in the data shown for the account. The data is accessed via Edit Account and Display Account. Via Edit Account a user with sufficient rights can edit the issued ranges of serial numbers. Next to the issued ranges used serial numbers from the currently selected range are displayed.

In order to create a new issued serial range for an account, to modify or to delete existing ones, the context menu as on the picture below can be invoked by clicking with the right mouse button to the corresponding text area.

 

 

The following natural constraints are put to serial ranges modification:

•The range with non-empty set of used cheque numbers cannot be deleted

•Only positive numbers are allowed as limits

•The first limit must be less than the second one

•No changes of range limits permitted that leave existing used numbers outside of the new limits

•No overlapping ranges allowed
