Create a new task

Start setting up a Print Job Submission example: create a new task.

Follow these steps to create a new AutoStore Task.

  1. Open the AutoStore Process Designer window.
  2. Go to the Home tab.
  3. Click New.
    This creates a new AutoStore configuration and opens the Task Properties window.
  4. In the Task Properties window select General in the left menu.
  5. Enter in a Name for your task.
  6. The default polling interval is set to 20 seconds under Perform this task every... seconds. Optionally change this value for more (lower than 20 seconds) or less frequent (higher than 20 seconds) polling.
  7. Click OK to save your changes and close the Task Properties window.
